Talagi Airport — Archangelsk, Russia

Talagi Airport, known by the code ARH, serves Arkhangelsk, a historic port city on the Northern Dvina River close to where it meets the White Sea in northwestern Russia. Elevation here reaches 62 feet, and a single runway handles the field's passenger and cargo movements. Arkhangelsk's position near the Arctic Circle makes air travel an important link to Moscow and other Russian cities, especially when winter conditions slow rail and road options. The White Sea coastline nearby has long shaped the city's identity as a northern port, and ARH provides the modern air complement to that maritime role, keeping this remote region connected to central Russia throughout the year.
