Privacy Policy
findairportcode.com is a reference tool, not a service that asks you to sign up, log in, or hand over personal information. This page explains, in plain terms, what does and doesn't happen with your data when you use the site.
What we collect
findairportcode.com does not use cookies, does not require an account, and does not run analytics or advertising scripts of its own. Airport pages are static — the page itself does not track who's reading it.
Third-party services used on this site
A few pieces of each airport page pull in data from outside services, which is standard for any site showing live information or embedded maps:
- Open-Meteo — powers the live weather shown on airport pages. Your browser requests weather for the airport's coordinates directly from Open-Meteo's API; no personal or location data about you is sent, only the airport's fixed coordinates.
- OpenStreetMap — powers the embedded map on each airport page. Loading the map means your browser makes a request to OpenStreetMap's servers, which may log standard technical details like your IP address under their own privacy policy.
Hosting and server logs
Like any website, findairportcode.com is served through hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) that may log basic technical information — IP address, browser type, timestamps — for security and operational purposes. We don't access this data to identify individual visitors, and we don't combine it with anything else.
If this changes
If we later add analytics or advertising (for example, Google Analytics or Google AdSense) to support the site, this policy will be updated first to describe exactly what's added, what data it collects, and how to opt out where applicable. We will not sell personal information.
