Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport — Qinhuangdao (Changli), China

Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport, coded BPE, sits near Changli in Hebei province, China, serving the city of Qinhuangdao and the nearby Beidaihe seaside resort area. Elevation there is a modest 46 feet, and one runway forms the entire layout. Beidaihe has long served as a summer retreat, and BPE handles a mix of domestic flights that rise during the warmer months when visitors travel to the coast. The airport gives Qinhuangdao's port and industrial economy an air link separate from the busier hubs of Beijing and Tianjin, which sit within a few hours by road or rail. Domestic carriers connect BPE primarily to major Chinese cities.
