Béziers Vias airport — Béziers, France

Béziers Vias Airport serves Béziers in France's Occitanie region, sitting 56 feet above sea level near the Mediterranean coast. A single runway handles a mix of low-cost carrier routes and general aviation traffic. Coded BZR, the airport gives travelers direct access to this part of southern France's coastline without connecting through Montpellier or Toulouse. Béziers itself sits inland from the beaches around Vias, in a region known for winemaking across the Languedoc countryside. Passenger traffic through BZR leans heavily seasonal, rising during the summer months when tourists head to the nearby Mediterranean beaches and vineyard country surrounding the city.
