Ely Airport Yelland Field — Ely, United States

Ely Airport Yelland Field, coded ELY, serves the small mining town of Ely in rural White Pine County, Nevada, an area historically built around copper mining. The airport has received Essential Air Service support to maintain scheduled flights linking this isolated community to larger regional hubs, given Ely's considerable distance from other cities across Nevada's high desert. Beyond commercial service, ELY supports general aviation, medical transport, and activity tied to the nearby Great Basin National Park, a scenic but remote destination. The airport's modest infrastructure, including a single terminal, reflects its role as a lifeline for a small, isolated Nevada community rather than a major traffic hub.
