Sea-Airport Cuxhaven/Nordholz / Nordholz Naval Airbase — Wurster Nordseeküste, Germany

FCN designates the Sea-Airport Cuxhaven/Nordholz, located near the Wurster Nordseeküste region on Germany's North Sea coast. This airfield is closely tied to Nordholz Naval Air Base, one of Germany's key naval aviation installations, historically associated with maritime patrol and reconnaissance operations. The civilian side of the airport, branded as a sea-airport, offers limited passenger and general aviation services aimed at the Cuxhaven area's tourism, particularly visitors to the North Sea coastline and Wadden Sea region. The dual military-civilian character of FCN reflects a broader pattern in Germany where naval or air force bases share runways with small regional civil aviation operations, giving the coastal Cuxhaven area local air access despite its otherwise limited commercial flight schedule.
