Chengdu Huaizhou Airport — Chengdu (Jintang), China

HZU is Chengdu Huaizhou Airport, situated in Jintang County near Chengdu, in Sichuan province, China. Rather than serving as a major passenger hub like Chengdu's larger airports, HZU has functioned largely in support roles, including cargo, general aviation, and at times military or flight-testing use associated with China's aviation industry presence around Chengdu. Jintang's proximity to Chengdu's sprawling metropolitan area means HZU benefits from regional logistics networks while remaining distinct from the city's primary international gateways. As Chengdu's aviation sector has expanded rapidly in recent years to handle growing passenger and freight demand, secondary airports like HZU have taken on supplementary functions, easing pressure on the region's busier terminals.
