Daxing'anling Elunchun Airport — Jiagedaqi, China

JGD refers to Daxing'anling Elunchun Airport, serving Jiagedaqi, a town in the Greater Khingan Range area of northeastern China's Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia border region. The airport's name references the Oroqen (Elunchun) ethnic minority historically associated with this forested, sparsely populated northern territory known for logging, cold winters, and vast boreal forest landscapes. JGD supports domestic flights connecting this remote region to larger Chinese cities, playing an important role given the area's limited rail and road infrastructure in some seasons. The airport serves both local residents and visitors interested in the region's forestry industry, wildlife, and the distinct culture of the area's indigenous communities.
