Krasnodar Pashkovsky International Airport — Krasnodar, Russia

KRR handles traffic for Krasnodar, the largest city in Russia's fertile Kuban region and an agricultural center often nicknamed a breadbasket for its grain, sunflower, and wine production. Sitting well inland from the Black Sea resort towns of Sochi and Anapa, Krasnodar has grown rapidly in recent decades, and its airport expanded accordingly to handle domestic business travel alongside seasonal southern tourism passing through toward the coast. The terminal underwent significant modernization to cope with rising passenger numbers, reflecting the city's emergence as a regional commercial hub distinct from the vacation towns nearby. Locals often describe Krasnodar as one of the more livable major Russian cities, citing its mild climate, tree-lined boulevards, and youthful population drawn by university enrollment and steady job growth. The football club FC Krasnodar, backed by a prominent local retailer, has raised the city's profile further. KRR ties this thriving southern region to Moscow and beyond.
