Rendani Airport — Manokwari, Indonesia

MKW is the code for Rendani Airport, serving Manokwari, the capital of West Papua province in Indonesia. Manokwari holds historical significance as an early center of Christian missionary activity in Papua and today functions as an administrative and educational hub for the province. MKW handles domestic flights connecting Manokwari to Jakarta, Jayapura, and other Indonesian cities, supporting government, business, and limited tourism traffic to the scenic Cenderawasih Bay area known for whale sharks and coral reefs. The airport has undergone periodic upgrades as part of broader Indonesian efforts to improve air connectivity across the country's remote eastern provinces.
