Pilanesberg International Airport — Pilanesberg, South Africa

NTY is Pilanesberg International Airport, located near the Pilanesberg National Park and the Sun City resort complex in South Africa's North West Province. The airport primarily caters to tourists visiting the region's popular game reserves and the Sun City entertainment resort, offering an alternative to longer road transfers from Johannesburg. NTY handles charter flights and some scheduled service, positioning it as a gateway for safari tourism rather than a major commercial hub. Its proximity to Pilanesberg's malaria-free game reserve makes it attractive to international visitors seeking convenient access to wildlife viewing. The airport's runway can accommodate mid-sized aircraft, supporting both tourist charters and general aviation traffic tied to the resort and reserve economy.
