Enrique Adolfo Jimenez Airport — Colón, Panama

ONX is Enrique Adolfo Jimenez Airport, serving Colón, Panama, a city at the Caribbean entrance to the Panama Canal. Named after a former Panamanian president, the airport supports the Colón Free Trade Zone, one of the largest free trade zones in the world, facilitating cargo, business travel, and logistics tied to international commerce flowing through the canal region. ONX primarily handles domestic flights connecting Colón to Panama City, given the relatively short distance but heavy traffic congestion on connecting highways. The airport plays a supporting role within Panama's broader transportation network, complementing the maritime and logistics infrastructure that makes Colón such an economically significant port city.
