Rafsanjan Airport — Rafsanjan, Iran

Rafsanjan Airport serves the city of Rafsanjan in Iran's Kerman province, an area famous for producing much of the world's pistachios. RJN primarily supports domestic flights connecting Rafsanjan to Tehran and other Iranian cities, facilitating trade and travel for this agriculturally significant region. The airport is modest in scale, reflecting Rafsanjan's status as a mid-sized city rather than a major metropolitan center. Air service to RJN has fluctuated over the years based on demand and airline route decisions within Iran's domestic network. The airport plays a practical role in linking pistachio exporters, business travelers, and residents of the arid Kerman region to the country's larger air transport system.
