Vladislav Ardzinba Sukhum International Airport — Sukhumi, Georgia

Vladislav Ardzinba Sukhum International Airport, coded SUI, is located near Sukhumi, a city on the Black Sea coast within Abkhazia, a region with a disputed political status that is recognized by some states as independent while considered part of Georgia by others under international law. The airport has historically served as an aviation hub for the area, though operations have been affected over the years by the region's unresolved political situation and limited international recognition. Sukhumi itself is known for its subtropical climate and Black Sea coastline. SUI's infrastructure reflects decades of intermittent development amid the area's complex geopolitical circumstances.
