Tabatinga International Airport — Tabatinga, Brazil

Tabatinga International Airport, coded TBT, serves the Brazilian city of Tabatinga in Amazonas state, located at the tri-border area where Brazil, Colombia, and Peru meet along the Amazon River. The airport handles domestic flights to Manaus and other Brazilian cities, functioning as a critical link for this remote Amazonian region where river travel otherwise dominates transportation. Tabatinga sits directly adjacent to Leticia, Colombia, creating a binational urban area with shared infrastructure and cross-border daily life. TBT supports cargo, passenger, and occasional military logistics given the area's strategic border position. Surrounded by dense rainforest, the airport provides essential access for residents, traders, and travelers navigating this isolated but geopolitically significant Amazon frontier zone.
