Tekirdağ Çorlu Airport — Çorlu, Turkey

Tekirdağ Çorlu Airport, coded TEQ, serves the Tekirdağ province in Turkey's Thrace region, located near the town of Çorlu within reach of both Istanbul and the Sea of Marmara coastline. Originally developed with military aviation roots, TEQ has increasingly handled low-cost domestic and some international flights, offering an alternative to Istanbul's more congested airports. The facility supports the industrial and agricultural economy of Tekirdağ province, known for its textile manufacturing and wine production. TEQ's relatively close proximity to Istanbul, combined with lower operating costs for airlines, has made it an attractive secondary option for travelers seeking to avoid the capital region's busier air travel infrastructure.
