Captain Ernesto Esguerra Cubides Air Base — Tres Esquinas, Colombia

Captain Ernesto Esguerra Cubides Air Base is a Colombian military airfield located near San Vicente del Caguan in the Caqueta department of southern Colombia. TQS has historically supported military and counter-narcotics operations in a region long affected by the country's internal armed conflict, given its strategic position near areas once controlled by armed groups. The base is named in honor of a Colombian Air Force officer. While primarily military in function, the airfield has at times accommodated limited civilian or humanitarian flights connecting this remote Amazonian frontier region to the rest of Colombia, where road infrastructure remains sparse and often unreliable.
