Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base — Ahmed Al Jaber AB, Kuwait

Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base is a Kuwait Air Force installation located southwest of Kuwait City, functioning as a military rather than civilian airfield. XIJ has held considerable strategic significance in the region, historically serving as a staging point for coalition military operations, including hosting United States and allied forces during multiple Gulf conflicts. The base includes extensive runway and support infrastructure built to accommodate military transport and combat aircraft rather than commercial passenger flights. As a active Kuwaiti defense facility, access remains restricted and it does not offer scheduled civilian air service. Ahmed Al Jaber continues to support Kuwait's national defense operations and maintains its role within broader regional military cooperation arrangements.
