Smiths Falls-Montague (Russ Beach) Airport — Smiths Falls, Canada

Smiths Falls-Montague (Russ Beach) Airport, coded YSH, serves the small eastern Ontario town of Smiths Falls along the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage waterway popular with boaters. The airport is named partly in honor of local aviation contributor Russ Beach and primarily accommodates general aviation, flight training, and recreational pilots rather than commercial airline traffic. Smiths Falls, once home to a major Hershey chocolate factory and now known for cannabis-industry manufacturing, relies on YSH for corporate and charter flights supporting these local businesses. The airport's single paved runway and rural setting make it a quiet but functional aviation asset for the region.
