Beihai Fucheng Airport — Beihai, China

Beihai Fucheng Airport serves Beihai, a port city on China's southern coast in the Guangxi Autonomous Region, sitting at just 75 feet of elevation with a single runway. Beihai faces the Gulf of Tonkin, placing it close to the Vietnamese border along China's southern coastline. The airport supports domestic connections to major Chinese cities, giving Beihai's port and tourism industries a direct air link beyond the region's rail and highway network. Guangxi's coastal strip differs sharply from the mountainous karst terrain found further inland around cities like Guilin, offering flatter ground and a more tropical climate. Beihai's beaches and coastal scenery have made it a growing domestic tourist draw within southern China, supporting steady seasonal demand at the airport.
