HPG is Shennongjia Hongping Airport, a high-altitude airport in Hubei Province, China, built to serve the Shennongjia Forestry District, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its biodiversity and legends of the Yeren, a Chinese counterpart to Bigfoot.
