Principe Airport — São Tomé & Príncipe, São Tomé and Principe

Principe Airport (PCP) is located on Príncipe Island, the smaller of the two main islands making up São Tomé and Príncipe in the Gulf of Guinea. The island is known for its lush biodiversity, UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve status, and eco-tourism appeal, drawing visitors interested in birdwatching and pristine beaches. PCP connects Príncipe to the capital island of São Tomé via short domestic flights, since the islands are separated by open ocean with no ferry alternative for most travelers. The airport is small, with a modest terminal and limited daily flight frequency. Given Príncipe's remote, low-density tourism model focused on sustainability, PCP remains a low-traffic but essential air link for the island's economy.
