Mercedita International Airport — Ponce, Puerto Rico

PSE, Mercedita International Airport, serves Ponce, the second-largest city in Puerto Rico, located on the island's southern coast. PSE offers flights connecting to the U.S. mainland and other Caribbean destinations, providing an alternative gateway to the busier San Juan airport for southern Puerto Rico residents and visitors. The airport has seen periods of expanded and reduced service over the years depending on airline market decisions, and it plays an important role in cargo and general aviation for the region's agricultural and industrial sectors. Ponce itself is known for its colonial architecture and cultural heritage, and PSE gives travelers direct access without the drive from San Juan.
