Stord Airport, Sørstokken — Leirvik, Norway

Stord Airport, known locally as Sorstokken, serves the island municipality of Stord in western Norway's Vestland county. SRP provides domestic flight connections linking this coastal industrial region to Oslo and Bergen, supporting the area's significant offshore oil and gas industry along with shipbuilding operations centered on Stord. The airport plays an important economic role, facilitating business travel for workers and executives tied to Norway's energy sector, which maintains substantial infrastructure in the surrounding fjord region. Stord's relatively small but efficient airport reflects Norway's broader pattern of maintaining robust regional air links to support decentralized industrial activity along its extensive, fragmented coastline.
