Trollhättan-Vänersborg Airport — Trollhättan, Sweden

Trollhättan-Vänersborg Airport serves the twin towns of Trollhättan and Vänersborg in western Sweden, near Lake Vänern, the largest lake in the European Union. THN has historically supported both civil aviation and connections to Sweden's aerospace industry, as Trollhättan is home to major aircraft engine manufacturing facilities. The airport has seen fluctuating commercial passenger service over the years, with periods of scheduled flights alongside charter and general aviation activity. Trollhättan itself is known for its dramatic waterfalls and film production heritage, drawing visitors to the region. Surrounded by forested Swedish countryside, THN provides a regional aviation link for this industrially significant part of Västra Götaland County, supporting both business and leisure travel needs.
