Rach Gia Airport — Rach Gia, Vietnam

VKG denotes Rach Gia Airport, located in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam and serving the coastal city of Rach Gia in Kien Giang Province. The airport functions as a domestic gateway linking this fishing and agricultural hub to Ho Chi Minh City, and importantly serves as a common connection point for travelers heading onward to Phu Quoc Island, a major Vietnamese beach destination. Rach Gia's economy centers on fisheries and rice production, and VKG supports both business travel and growing tourism traffic tied to the Mekong Delta and Gulf of Thailand coastline. The airport has seen incremental upgrades to accommodate increasing domestic passenger volumes in recent years.
