Zhuhai Jinwan Airport — Zhuhai (Jinwan), China

Zhuhai Jinwan Airport serves the Special Economic Zone city of Zhuhai, positioned along the Pearl River Delta directly across the water from Macau. ZUH was constructed with an unusually long runway and generous capacity, originally envisioned as a major aviation gateway for the region, though scheduled passenger traffic has grown more slowly than early planners anticipated. The airport's greatest global recognition comes from hosting China's largest air show, a biennial event that draws military aircraft, aerobatic teams, and commercial manufacturers for public flight demonstrations. Zhuhai itself has developed into a technology and manufacturing center within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, benefiting from bridge and ferry links to neighboring Hong Kong and Macau. Domestic routes connect ZUH to major Chinese cities, while the surrounding coastal geography supports a growing leisure travel segment alongside the airport's aerospace-industry ties.
