Jiande Qiandaohu General Airport — Hangzhou, China

JDE refers to Jiande Qiandaohu General Airport, situated near the Qiandao Lake (Thousand Island Lake) scenic area within the greater Hangzhou region of Zhejiang province, China. The airport was developed to support tourism to Qiandao Lake, a popular destination known for its clear waters and thousands of small islands formed by a reservoir project. As a general aviation airport, JDE has focused on activities such as sightseeing flights, flight training, and limited scheduled routes rather than heavy commercial jet traffic. Its development reflects broader efforts in China to build out regional and general aviation infrastructure to support domestic tourism in scenic areas outside major city centers like Hangzhou.
