Tongren Fenghuang Airport — Tongren (Daxing), China

Tongren Fenghuang Airport, coded TEN, serves Tongren, a prefecture-level city in Guizhou Province, China, named partly after the nearby Fenghuang Ancient Town, a popular tourist destination famous for its riverside stilt houses and Miao and Tujia ethnic heritage. The airport connects Tongren to major Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, supporting growing tourism to the mountainous Wuling region. TEN has expanded in recent years to accommodate increasing visitor numbers drawn to Guizhou's karst landscapes, waterfalls, and minority cultural sites. The airport reflects broader Chinese government efforts to develop transportation infrastructure in previously isolated southwestern provinces, boosting both tourism revenue and regional economic integration.
