Wuhan Hannan Municipal Airport — Wuhan (Hannan), China

Wuhan Hannan Municipal Airport (WHN) is a general aviation facility located in the Hannan district southwest of central Wuhan, China, distinct from the city's much larger Wuhan Tianhe International Airport. WHN primarily supports flight training, private aviation, business charters, and short-hop operations rather than large-scale commercial passenger traffic. As Chinese aviation authorities expand general aviation infrastructure to relieve pressure on major hubs, airports like Wuhan Hannan play a growing role in pilot training and regional connectivity. The facility features runway and apron infrastructure suited to light aircraft, positioning it as a supporting node within Hubei province's broader civil aviation network centered on the Yangtze River metropolitan area.
