Zabrat Airport — Zabrat, Azerbaijan

Zabrat Airport, coded ZXT, is located near Baku, Azerbaijan, historically serving as a secondary airfield supporting general aviation, military use, and helicopter operations in the greater Baku metropolitan area. Unlike Baku's main international airport, Zabrat has functioned more as a utility airfield tied to the region's oil industry and government aviation needs, given the Absheron Peninsula's long history as a center of petroleum extraction. The airport's infrastructure reflects Soviet-era origins, later adapted for specialized flights rather than commercial passenger traffic. ZXT's proximity to Baku places it within Azerbaijan's most economically significant urban region, even as it occupies a comparatively modest role among the country's aviation facilities.
