General José María Yáñez International Airport — Guaymas, Mexico

GYM is the General José María Yáñez International Airport, serving Guaymas, a port city on the Gulf of California coast in Sonora, Mexico. The airport supports domestic flights connecting Guaymas to major Mexican cities, along with general aviation tied to the region's fishing, shipbuilding, and increasingly tourism-driven economy centered on the nearby resort area of San Carlos. Guaymas has long been an important naval and commercial port, and GYM complements this by handling business travel, seasonal tourism, and occasional charter service. Despite its international designation, GYM's traffic remains modest compared to larger Mexican coastal hubs like Hermosillo or Los Cabos.
