Yinchuan Hedong International Airport — Yinchuan, China

INC serves Yinchuan, capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in China's northwest, a city long positioned along branches of the ancient Silk Road linking Chinese heartlands to Central Asia. The region's substantial Hui Muslim population has shaped Yinchuan's tourism identity, and the airport has become a notable gateway for direct flights to Middle Eastern and Central Asian destinations, part of a broader push to market Ningxia as a halal-friendly travel destination for visitors from Muslim-majority countries. Domestically, INC connects to Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, and other major Chinese cities, supporting both business travel tied to the region's energy and agriculture sectors and tourism to nearby desert and grassland attractions. The terminal has undergone expansion to handle rising passenger numbers, reflecting Yinchuan's steady growth as a secondary aviation hub within China's inland northwest.
