Wuhai Airport — Wuhai, China

Wuhai Airport, coded WUA, serves the industrial city of Wuhai in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China. Wuhai sits along the Yellow River and has developed as a center for coal mining and chemical industries, and the airport supports domestic flights connecting the city to major Chinese hubs such as Beijing and other regional centers. As part of China's extensive expansion of regional airport infrastructure over recent decades, WUA facilitates business travel tied to the area's resource-based economy while also offering residents easier access to the rest of the country. The airport reflects the broader pattern of mid-sized industrial cities in China gaining direct air connectivity.
